General
A workshop entitled "Innovation and Internationalisation in the Qualification of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Experts" adressing Asia and South Asia will take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from November 22nd until November 25th 2006. The workshop is jointly organised by the Department of Technical Education and Training of Sri Lanka (DTET), the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the United Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Network on Innovation and Professional Development (UNIP), and UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
The aim of this workshop is to substantiate the implementation of the international Master study programme for TVET in Sri Lanka, to develop and adopt models for cooperation in the South Asian region and to stipulate the exploratory focus and international research cooperation in the field of TVET especially for Asia and South Asia. | |
